My current Power Supply is a 250W. I am running a T-bird 1.2GHz, 128MB PC133, Asus A7a266Mobo w/ On-board sound, 16MB ATI Xpert 128, Network card, modem, a 40GB IBM H.Drive, and a CD-Rom. I am thinking of adding a DVD-ROM and I don't know if my PS will take it(also planning to add a CD-RW and a 60GB H.drive soon).

vtruty,
You should almost certainly consider a more capacious power supply. PC Power & Cooling, a maker of the highest quality units, has an evaluator at their site which may be of real help to you in determining how sizeable a unit to purchase. They're at www.pcpowercooling.com (http://www.pcpowercooling.com)

In a word...
Yes.
There is only one 250W ont he AMD list and that is with good reason. They just aren't strong enough to power the system. I would go to at least a 300W.
If you have the cash, I'd do it now. If not, then wait to see what the DVD-ROM does.
