Normal idling temp i would reckon is anywhere from 30-45C, maximum temp possible is around the 85C mark, however i would start getting concerned if your exceeding 60C

Ive got two of them in the room here with me, both have back fan and blowhole in case with Coolermaster xdream HSF. They stay in the 43 degree range, system at 32-34. Its also 80f in the room as well so should be close to your results.

Got one overclocked with simple FSB twiddling to 1695 mhz. Other one left alone ( its my wifes ). :)

Well i have the system all build n running. I just worry about temp way much, it's at 46C-53ish, when im working doing web development , Photoshop, notepad, home site, Fireworks 3 so is the Ok or what?, i used Arctic Silver 3 with a GLOBALWIN's TAK68 CPU Heatsink has two fans.

Just received my AMD Athlon XP 1900+ (Palomino) from newegg.com and have been letting it idle in BIOS for the past 15 min. Using a really small amount of Arctic Silver II with my Coolmaster DP5-6I31A (I think), the processor has been sitting at 42C.
