When I installed windows xp I had 3 partitons. I really wasnt thinking.
It read:
C:/ 2 gb
D:/ 5 gb
E:/ 69 gb
Or something similar to this. It told me which one to pick. I chose D and it installed there. Where can i get my other 71 gb from whichout redoing my whole computer?

You would need something like partition magic 7 at the least to work with xp and delete partitions and reclaim space in a friendly interface or read up on disk management in xp's help and support which the utility can be found in your admin tools.

You can edit the registry, forcing Windows to install all applications to the E: drive.
Open REGEDIT. Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE | Software | Microsoft | Windows | CurrentVersion. Right there on your right is the ProgramFilesDir path. Change it from D:\Program Files to E:\Program Files.
Now all new programs will be installed to E. I do this routinely. It works.
BipolarBill, thanks for that. I like to install all my progs to a folder on my D partition. That'll speed things up considerably.
