How do you round cables?

Please tell me step by step how to round IDE cables because I need every last bit of space in my case that is available.

As for me, I didn't even go through the trouble cutting the IDE cable into little strands. I just got some good O' black electrical tape and wrapped the cable up and doing this took me less than 30 minutes to round up all my cables.

Ive purchased em awhile back only because they are visable in my Clearcase, BUT id say with my experience DONT cut them, let your cable sit in the sun, when hot fold them, you can create a tight bundle, just tape or ziptie em, my best results is in using black spiralwrap from the autostore, if they are visable Id use the manufactured cables with the housing ...
