Use whatever you like, you might try a few brands to see what your audio cd player likes but I have never had a problem with any brand I've tried.

"Audio CD-Rs" - more money for increased profit margin by manufacturers with same quality CDs.
Do as Bsdboy suggested - shop around. I just bought PNY Colored CD-Rs from a recommendation at Sysopt. They were cheaper than the competition at $15 for 25 and worked most excellently in my portable cd player (very picky).
Good luck http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif

from what I understand the audio CDs are no differnt than others except a higher price and a kickback to recording cos. like the fee radio stations pay to play a record.

I went to Best buy the other day to get the colored CDs, and my local best buy jacked the price up $5 .. Now $5 isn't that much of a big deal, but I figured i'd wait until they dropped back down.
Wart- Let us know how those colored CDs work!!
I understand the "audio quality" CDs include in the price a compensation to the recording industry. Audio cassettes in the early years had a 50 cent stomp for the recording industry loss of revenue.
But as for actual recording quality, none. But home CD recording decks might only be able to use the audio quality discs.

I just got a box of black CDRs. I'll let you know if they seem any better or not.
I've had skipping on the light blue bottom CDRs on one changer. Maybe this'll fix it.
