I have 2 physical HDs with 3 partitions. The 1st partition is 2GB, and holds my WinME and all my program files. The 2nd partition is 17GB and is strictly used for back ups. The 3rd partition or 2nd physical disk is 13.6GB and has all my games installed on it. I know I can use Ghost to make an image of my 1st partition (WinME) , but if something happened and I had to reload that image back on, would it have everything back to the way it was? Would it know my games were instaled on the 2nd partition, and would it boot up etc.? Is there anyway to burn it onto CDs and make the first one bootable? Btw. I am using a version of Ghost that comes with Norton System Works 2001.
Also I have Drive Image Pro 3, not sure if it is easier with it or not. Any help with this is apreciated.

Thanks
Steve

If you were to restore the image of the C drive, yes everything would work exactly as it did at the time the image was made.

I also have both Drive Image and Ghost and personally prefer DI. Burning a bootable CD can be done, but that really depends on the burning software you use.

BTW- I also just got the new Ghost in SW 2001 and am interested in trying it since it claims to be able to write directly to CD-R.
