Does anyone out there know of a Photoshop plugin that will give the Matrix effect, for example a picture of a hallway with the Matrix code for walls and such, like in the movie? It doesn't have to be for Photoshop, but it is there anything like that out there?

I'm sure you could draw something with paintbrush! It would only take a few life times. lol http://www.sysopt.com/forum/wink.gif Sorry. I have no idea.

Won't need a plug-in or filter for that. In any vector-based graphic app (Illustrator or Coreldraw), just make a bitmap of the "matrix code" and use that as a fill for your rectangles.
You don't even need a vector based program to make that. If you're using Photoshop 6, it already has vector based fonts feature. Just type the "1's" and "0's" and then rasterize it to fo further editing such as give it effects, etc...

thanks guys, unfortunately I only have Photoshop 5.5 but I will give the bitmap thing a try.
You don't necessarily need to use vector fonts though... Just use the type tool in Photoshop 5.5 and don't do any excessive scaling after you rasterize it and you'll be fine. The advantage of vector graphics & fonts is that you can scale them without losing quality. As long as you don't alter the size of the font by using the scale method after you use the type tool in Photoshop 5.5, you'll be fine..
