Heya guys and gals!
I have a SETIQueue set-up for anyone who wants to use it.
http://teamxcrunching.dyndns.org:5517
I don't know if a FQDN will work for the proxy server settings you need to make in SETI Driver or any other CLI management tool, so just ping it to get the IP.
It works well, tested it all weekend here at the house, funneled all outbound traffic through it flawlessly.
Plus, I can remote manage the actual server and the SETIQueue via the net as well... so downtime is virtually eliminated, even when I am at work :D
Feel free to use it!
Logan
[EDIT] - I just set-up a more appropriate DNS name, and also, you can bookmark my website for the actual IP as it changes (if it changes): http://www.one87.net/~teamx

Depending on what you use (SETI Hide, SETI Driver, etc)... you just enter the IP and port 5517 into your Proxy Server settings for SETI. You can get the IP from my website, here: http://www.one87.net/~teamx
It forwards your results and downloads your next workunits via my SETIQueue server that I have running right now at home. This way, you have a place to offload WUs if you run close to your limit if Berkeley goes down as it always does at unexpected points in time.
You still retain credit for all WUs that you process, whether you download them via my server or directly from UBC. Think of a SETIQueue server as a rest-stop for SETI clients. :)
Feel free to just drop by the SETIQueue and see what it's like! It has a built-in webserver, Flash Skymap, result tracking, etc.

Seti Bank! ;)

HAHAHHAHA SETI Bank... I like it!
Even if you download from me, when you first connect, all WUs for you will be downloaded directly from UBC anyways. After you retrieve your required number of workunits (1,6,20, whatever), it will download a few more and put them in your "queue". They'll wait there for you, about 2-3 days worth or so. Once you connect again, and upload your results to the SETIQueue... you'll download from your "queue". You might notice that your results might not update immediately, but I check the Queue on the half hour or so and can prompt it to connect and submit results immediately.
So I guess it is a SETI "Bank"... it's always running, uses next-to-no memory space, and has really cool features!
Oh, and would our glorious webmaster please re-email me the picture for the graphic link to the SysOpt Users team website again? I downloaded it at work by mistake, and Outlook Express ate the bugger :D :t

I can't view this page at work. The port must be blocked by our firewall. :(
I will check it out at home. :)

Nah it doesn't auto-update... it gives me something to do, which also lets me remember to update my UD stats, and my teammates' UD stats. :p
The connecting graphic is freeware off the SETI@home users' submissions section of the website. Feel free to download a copy and use it to link to SETI@Home :)
I don't see any new users for the SETIQueue :(
Oh well... it's there if you need it guys! :D :t
