When I'm playing music with my computer it sound like the beats are not match up the way they should sound. It almost sounds like a skipping cd.

I was not sure if it was damagaed cells on my HD or maybe my sound card? Ive got about 30 gigs of music.

Any ideas?

What kind of system spec.?

What software are you using?

Is it all of the music?

How many programs are running in the background?

If it's an older puter with a slower cpu alot of times they cant keep up with steaming audio files.

Have you got a soundcard with a "3D-sound" feature? it can sometimes make low-bitrate MP3s sound wierd... - if it is enabled that is.

I had a prob that sounds kinda familiar to your i was useing windows media player to listen to mp3'sand then all of a sudden one day it started to get all jumpy. so i like a scratched cd but i had played them days before fine i tohught that maybe the mp3's were conutedm so i deleted them ALL and dled them again with the same prob. I now use winamp and everything is smooth its also puts out a higher quality sound then media player. So try winamp if you dont already have it a see if it works. Good luck
