GE UPS

I heard that GE is getting into UPSs anyone have any first hand experience with them???

I think that you answered your own question. They aren't in the UPS business quite yet. Hence, no one has experience with them.

Still, I've been in the medical business for 22 years and GE (the real GE - not Thomson "clock radio/TV" Electronics) makes the most solid stuff around. They are heavily into PACS (picture archiving computer systems) and found out that the needed UPS systems to back it up. They had been selling APC stuff to the hospitals and may have come to the realization that there's money to be made in selling their own UPS systems. They may also just be relabeling APC stuff. It's hard to know.

I would trust GE no matter whose UPS they are selling.
