Does anyone know of a socket 7 to socket 1 adapter? I have a motherboard that has a socket 7 CPU and I just happen to have a Pentium II 233 that I would like to use if possible.
Thanks Don

Thanks Don Dominus 08-23-1999, 11:35 AM I hate to tell you, but I severely doubt that such an item exists. The CPUs use different voltages, different RAM, and different chipsets. krusty 08-23-1999, 10:36 PM And a different number of pins. K. 800XL 08-24-1999, 03:49 AM Not to mention completely different bus protocols. The hardware engineering involved in doing something like this would be staggering. You would be best off to look into picking up a Slot 1 motherboard and use that 233 Mhz P2 to run until you can upgrade it later.
