Do anybody you know double click on links. This drives me crazy sometimes i see my uncle clickin on them like 6 or 7 times. I know other people who say they cant tell the difference between links, 1 click and icons whick take 2 clicks. I see them clicking on the shortcuts on the bottom left of the screen (where shortcuts to the internet and media player are) 2 or 3 times and then there all "how come theres so many windows" This is just common sense to me I've never been confused to whether something is 1 click or 2, have you?

Not sure if this will assist----I set my browser to singleclick (IE)---Open Folder Options in Control Panel
On the General tab, under Click items as follows, select the option
singleclick, its is in there...

I don't double click on links, and neither does my dad. (Unless in a hurry, it doesn't help, but makes me feel better http://www.sysopt.com/forum/wink.gif)

Nobody at my house does. But I had a friend over that works on sercurity systems (for companys networks). And at the time I had my PC (a 300Mhz cely 64Mbs mem)set to single click. He being used to double clicking, and powerfull computers. He started out copying something like 500Mbs of software to my HD. Then while it's doing that he checks his e-mail, his stocks, starts my mp3 player, does a bunch of other highly CPU intensive stuff (remeber since he is used to double clicking he is opening every program twice)! Before I think 5 minutes he had my computer so bogged down that windows finnaly quite and rebooted the computer! He's like "what the heck?". It was sad seeing my little cely pushed like that.
