I am looking to build my own system this summer. My favorite site for this so far is AberdeenInc.com I want to have LOTS of options. And I want to know the specifics on stuff not just "128Mb SDRAM". DOes anyone else know of any other such sites?

I am only buying a motherboard & processor, case, memory, and hard drive. I am having the worst time deciding what to go with. AMD 1.33 pretty sure but not sure about the board. Asus A7A266 Ali Magik is the likely so I can have 2x256 PC2100 DDR SDRAM. For the HD I am thinking IBM Deskstar60GXP 40GB. For the case I am clueless. ANY leads would be great. Like someone mentione Lian Li or something like that.

Lian Li cases are supposed to be really nice cases. I have only bought Enlight and Superpower online because I am familiar with those and know what I am getting. I frequently look for deals in town when it comes to cases though so I can save on freight.

Other than that, go to www.pricewatch.com (http://www.pricewatch.com) and cross reference prices with www.resellerratings.com (http://www.resellerratings.com) . resellerratings is one of the best tools for rating online companies.

I got most of my parts for my current EQ box from www.Newegg.com. (http://www.Newegg.com.) They were very competitive, their return policy/proceedures were fairly convenient too. I went with an Enlight case, A7V133 mobo, Crucial (from www.crucial.com (http://www.crucial.com) and not newegg) CAS-2 133 (2x256MB) and the same hard drive you were asking about...EQ screams now http://www.sysopt.com/forum/biggrin.gif

Hehe... EQ is one of the main reasons I want a new PC! **** that game! Oh and sorry about the 2nd post on here.
