I need a better way of entering commands in Windows than the standard command prompt.

I want something which provides copy and paste functionality for entering commands like ping <IP address>, etc, and some of the other useful features, like command recall, and in-line editing of commands, which are provided standard in most Unix shells/terminal apps.

I don't want to completely replace Windows Explorer or anything like that, just want a more user friendly experience at the command line.

Anyone know of something?

For which Windows version?

I'm running win2k at work, and that's where it would be most use.

I've also got win98SE and WinXP systems at home, so something that works on them would probably be useful also.

Thanks Johnny, or should that be Mr Fist?

These look pretty good, I will check out a couple when I get a chance.

No problem. I like using one called Dterm. It supports transparency so it blends in real nice with your desktop. There is no window for it or anything. Its somewhat sluggish, but man it looks good. Too bad I can't find a link to it anywhere.

...and Johnny works just fine.
