Nice speed there.

I get 295 Mflops with my AMD 2000+ overclocked to 2200+ rate, but I have no idea how fats my dual AMD MP 2400+ processors are doing since I use the command line client for those two systems.

I'd say your dual 2400+ is probably in the 350ish range, Sterling_Aug.

I've decided what I'm probably going to do is this:

Run UD again (for now) during the week, and during the weekend run SETI. Also, I'm going to go get a NForce 2 Mobo and about 512MB of DDR-333 to replace the ECS K7S5A and 256MB of DDR-2100. Ultimately... I'll get another XP 1800+ for the ECS board, and "stack" it somewhere, sans case, crunching SETI (while O/Ced). The new unit (well, new mobo) will be used for UD to crunch cancer workunits.

Sad note: my G/F (we live together common-law) lost her other aunt from her Dad's side to cancer Sunday. This is the reason I've been so rabid for UD lately. That's 3 people lost to varying forms of cancer in 7 months this year (her two aunts and my Dad's dad). I haven't turned my back to you guys at all... it's just that UD is now at phase 2 (revisitation of promising WUs, ala SETI) and I really wanna see this stuff get ripped up! It takes me about 10.5-12 hours to complete a cancer WU right now, but we're far from giving up.

Sorry about rambling... just everytime I vent my frustration with cancer and explain why cancer research has really hit a nerve with me lately, I feel a little better :)

If and when UD is done (more when than if), all units will be diverted back to SETI and the team :)

Well... I guess I could always go into journalism if IT fails, right? :)

:t

Sorry to hear that Logan. :(

These days you don't have to look far to find someone who hasn't been affected by cancer. Really a shame when good people are lost daily to a disease that's plagued mankind for so many years and no end in sight. :(

Like ET we can only guess when something may be found. Keep up the fight! ;)

Scavenger... how do you set-up SETIWatch exactly?

Could you PM me or email me some info?

Thanks!

Logan

PS. I guess that goes for RampageIII or Scavenger7 :D

If you want more in-depth info on wu's crunched, use setilog with setiwatch.. I have never done it myself, i use setiwatch just to make sure all the computers are running.

if you want to check it out..
