Whatever happened to....

The Matrox G400 that everyone used to fall in love with? I'm looking around in pricewatch and can't seem to find anything on it. I don't want the G450, I want a G400 Max. It's for a slightly older system, and would be a terrific balance between processor and video power for the games played on it. Any links?

Pricewatch seems to be taking the older technology off more quickly recently. Since this card is 2 generations removed, I guess they decided to get rid of it in their database. I was int he market for one recently, but could not find a used one either. Used ones go very quickly on the forums. An extremely nice card. I would keep checking the for sale forums here (at sysopt), at Anandtech, and at ArsTechnica. Be srue to check references at heatware.elitehardware.com when you do find one for sale though.

Thanks you two. I've emailed that guy about it. For some reason I still can't get onto anandtech's forum, even with the recommended email provider they gave me.
