i received a broken amd t-bird from smk company which website is allstarcomponents.com from pricewatch. I send the cpu back to them for a exchange and when they received it they told me it's gonna take 7 business days for them to test it then send it back to me. they didn't give me any rma number but when i could back after two weeks to find out what happened to my cpu, they told me that they weren't able to test and they ship back the same cpu that i returned to them bcoz it has a chipped on the corner of the cpu core and they were blaming me for it. i got into a long argument but it didn't do any good. the only thing they told me is to do a fedex claim on it. i need ur help guys. give me an advice to get my money back. thanks.

Was it packed properly? If so, then Fedex is not likely to pay out any money.

Was it factory sealed when you first got it? If so, call AMD. If not, call AMD anyways and find out what they recommend.

Good Luck, I hope you didn't have too much invested in this chip, it might be obsolete by the time this gets sorted out!
