Removing headers & footer when print web-pages

Does anyone know of a HTML/JavaScript/ASP piece of code to automatically remove the Header & Footer information in both Netscape and IE when printing a web-page.

I'm trying to get the website to print a letter and on't want all the **** at the top and bottom...I can obviously remove them manually, but was wondering if their is code to automatically do it?

highlight what you want to print. then when you go to print. where it says page range click selection. hope thats what your looking for
