I have dx 9.0a on my computer, along with a radeon 9500...when i run the diagnostic tests for DX, and it asks me if i see a spinning cube with dx written on the sides, i somewhat see a cube, but it looks like it is rotating incredibly fast, like 20-30 times faster than it should, but i can still somewhat see that it resembles a cube with extremely blurred text due to the speed, it never used to do this, is this a problem?

probably just hte card is so fast you can't read it. What other benchmark scores you been getting.?

I would only worry if DXDiag specifically tells you the card failed any of the tests, its prolly just the speed of the card yeah

well it doesnt say that anything has failed

my benchmark scores have been about 3000-3500, and around 11000 on 3dmark 2003 and 2001

Yep, that's the vid card outpacing a poorly-designed test (one that depends on fill rate for rotation speed.)

M$

i've also experienced that, when i installed the DX 9.0 the updated it to 9.0a.... i can see the x mark on the sides so what i did was have a dx 8.1 card installed then reinstalled dx 8.1 then after that installed put my new card and updated to dx 9.0a...
