How big of a power supply should i get for my system?. I have:
600 Duron O/C'd @ 850
1 cdrom drive
1 burner
2 Hard Drives
Couple USB Products
6 fans
Planning on upgrading to the 1.4 athlon in the near future.

300 watt to 350 watt I would think. Although there are more knowledgable people who can give you a more definite answer.

250w will be fine. But If you are in the market I would spend the few $ more and get a 300w.
Just mak sure that it is AMD approved.
6 fans? that's a lot.

i have 6 fans because my original motherboard-cpu setup was from pcnut and it was o/c'd at 1gig. The setup ran really hot so i setup my case with some fans.
What is a good power supply brand that i can go with? My current system has a 250w power supply and i had trouble booting my system. so i unpluged the floppy and my cdrom drive(use my burner a lot)

Thanks Bsdboy, but Enermax is not on the AMD approved list. Will it still work with an athlon 1.4

You're right it isn't on the AMD approved list but it is an excellent unit here's (http://www.thetechzone.com/reviews/powersupply/enermax450/page3.shtml) a review.

STBEL4,
You may wish to take a look at the PC Power & Cooling site, www.pcpowercooling.com (http://www.pcpowercooling.com) and look for their recommendation. They have an evaluator which helps sort out questions of this kind. I guess that they'll probably suggest a 300W unit for you. PC Power & Cooling makes a very high quality product which becomes evident in the price. If you're looking to economize somewhat without losing sight of high quality consider Antec.
