I was just wondering, if Nforce2 boards are meant to have an IGP, then shouldnt there be some way to access the onboard graphics? I have an Epox 8RDA+ and wanted to use the onboard temporarily until I buy a decent graphics card. Problem is where do I plug the VGA cable from my monitor to or can it even be done??

If there isn't a plug for your monitor on the back then your board doesn't have the IGP.
simple as that.

so you are saying that its up to the motherboard manufacturer to implement what is already on the chipset cos nforce definately has IGP

Yep, it's just like how some boards get SATA and some don't. I think it's mostly so they can release two versions and charge more for the one that implements the IGP.
But I thought there was 2 different chips made by nvidia, one with IGP and one without.

The SPP northbridge has no video. The IGP does.

8rda+ doesnt have onboard video. Onboard video is not a 'standard' of the Nforce 2 chipset family, think of it as more of an optional extra that most ppl dont want
