Hi,

I have a Wireless router (Dlink) installed at home. It is working fine. Now my company has given me a wired Linksys router to connect laptop from home using VPN. When I use the Wireless router, laptop to connect to work using VPN, it does not connect. But when I use wired router, it works. What could be the possible settings which needs to be changed on my wireless router, to make vpn work.

Perhasp to Enable pptp to pass through. or L2tp and ipsec.

Was this ever resolved? I am having the exact same problem (I have a linksys wireless router, Adelphia Cable ISP, 11mb signal (?) and a work laptop that has to use VPN to work from home).

If I plug directly into the router, VPN works.

If I try to connect using the wireless, I get "Switch Log error".

My 2 thoughts:
1) Something about making the wireless "secure" (like, maybe needing a key code or some such...)

2) The router needs a stronger wireless signal.

Any help or advice is greatly appreciated!

Thanks,
Zebster
