I don't have a favorite place for CDRs. I just watch the ads in the Sunday newspaper and jump on the best deals. Circuit City recently had 200 80/700s for less than $0.10 each after rebates. Staples had 10 with slim jewel cases 'free' after rebate. Office Depot had 10 CDRW for about $0.15 each after rebate.

Beyond that, I do my general price comparison shopping at www.pricewatch.com (http://www.pricewatch.com) .

I'm still waiting for a buch of rebates. But the price I paid out front was less than $15 per 100!

Personally, I've found no difference in quality between brands. Everything, including house brands and no labels, record and play in whatever I stick them in!

As for "audio" quality. Those are more for the home recording decks. Those discs have paid the RIAA a licensing fee and are apparently encoded as such. But it's some of the home decks that make use of it. I record music with just plain old on sales!
