I just got GTA 3 a few days ago, it installed fine but when i loaded the game the text boxes were replaced by coloured boxes. I searched the net until i found a patch from windows to fix the proble. Bt whenever i try to install the patch it comes up with a error saying "Setup cannot update your windows xp files because the language installed on your system is differenet from the update language." Any ideas?:confused:

i dont have gta3 but.............are you downloading the right patch?
make sure ure downloading like some other language, download the english version

i'm downloading the english patch, but it gives the same result. :(

Change your Windows' Regional Settings to English/US, then try reinstalling the patch once again.
And please avoid double-posting :t
