I need a printer.... where are the steals and deals at...

well i decided to post here quick before i start searching
i decided i will probably need a printer while in college so i am going to purchase one
i was thinking about getting a 'combo' that was a printer/copy/scanner - ive seen them at target for like 90 dollars...

or which printers have the cheapest ink and are affordable...
any deals around post link please thanks

That's easy. Go to your local Sam's Club and pick up an HP 1210 All-in-one for $88. Spring for the service plan if you like. Excellent device for an excellent price.

If you don't have a Sam's, they sell it pretty much everywhere else for $99.

Go to best buy and look for the open box deals, The 1210 is a nice space saver but the 2110 is much better at image reproduction and is worth the extra $30-$40. I've compared side by side the 2110 against the lexmark all-in-one's that start at $159 and up and the HP is still better at image reproduction.

i looked at best buy and online and a few other places and my local wal-mart had the best deal

lexmark x75 all in one printer, it does enough for me, so far im happy with it

You don't seem to understand. In that price category the HP's beat the Lexmarks for image reproduction hands down. Also your not going to see the open box deals on the best buy web-site that you'll see in their brick and morter stores. But to each their own. C'est la vie.
