You need to configure your Router

go into the Web Interface to cofigure it

read the manual

I wish people would read the manual before posting - Its quite rude to assume we will do all the work!!!

No offence AUDIO but you dont learn anything by getting others to do all the research.

First rule - unplug the modem from power while hooking up. This resets the modem properly.

Restore power to the modem after a few minutes.

Next, open WINIPCFG in Win98/ME and RENEW ALL. In Win2K/XP, bring up the Command Prompt and type IPCONFIG /RENEW ALL. This was your second mistake today - not telling us your Windows version.

Download from Microsoft the Win2000 IPCONFIG.

It works on WinXP too.

Yeah bad day.

Changed the password on our Cisco CMS today and its caused a slight problem shall we say. Complete Cascade failure actually - luckily no-one was working today so the old switch off and back on did the trick - Aaah Cisco equipment IOS does have its advantages!!!
