Thanks, Jon Bsdboy 06-22-2001, 04:28 AM This (http://www.logitech.com/cf/products/productoverview.cfm/91) is my choice,I have 2 of the non optical versions now and I love them.I would like to try one of these. Bsdboy HomeYield 06-22-2001, 05:06 AM Here (http://www.microsoft.com/products/hardware/mouse/explorer.htm) is the mouse I have and I love this thing. It works flawlessly and I've never had any problems with it. Great comfort feel, very light, and very precise. IMO. randy48 06-22-2001, 08:25 AM I like Trackballs! I've got two Logitech's 4 wheel scrollers which are great, buy for Father's Day, I got a MS optical Trackball Explorer...the best I've ever used! fast and smooth! Richard_Cranium72 06-22-2001, 08:56 AM My fav, so far, is the Microsoft Optical Wheel mouse. It has lots of adjustments including a "snap-to" function that puts the cursor at the most likely position for the next click. Saves moving the mouse around a lot. Speeds up the system considerably. Circuit City has them for $25.00 which is probably cheaper than ordering and paying shipping at some place like this->> http://shop.store.yahoo.com/shentech/micwheelmous1.html OuTpaTienT 06-22-2001, 08:58 AM Eeeeww. I hate Microsoft mice, especially the wheel mechanism they use is just so wimpy. And most of them are unnecessarily large. And whatever you do, don't EVER get a MS wireless mouse, good gawd those things suck. My favorite mouse is currently the Logitech Mini Wheel Mouse (http://www.logitech.com/cf/products/productoverview.cfm/50) . Also have: Logitech Optical Wheel Mouse (http://www.logitech.com/cf/products/productoverview.cfm/55) Logitech Wheel Mouse (http://www.logitech.com/cf/products/productoverview.cfm/77) Logitech Cordless Wheel Mouse (http://www.logitech.com/cf/products/productoverview.cfm/92) (and a couple MS mice collecting dust). hawkeye177 06-22-2001, 09:42 AM I really like logitech's optical mouse. DUSTYRUN 06-22-2001, 09:58 AM logitech all the way... I curently have: mouseman wheel optical cordless mouseman wheel cordless mouseman wheel and the mouseman wheel optical They are all great but the cordless optical is the best. Dustyrun booya 06-22-2001, 10:50 AM i love the microsfot intellimouse but the razorboomslang2000 just kick serious *** this mouse is greath Spanky 06-22-2001, 11:19 AM I use one of the microsoft opticals, the big silver and grey one with 2 extra buttons, Those extra buttons should come on every mouse. They are forward/back on my set up and make surfing ALOT quicker. Plus I use it on any surface like my leg or the arm of the chair, I don't even have a clean spot on the desk for it anymore cause you don't need one. I think I've had it 2 years or so now, let see how many ball mice last that long. I think I'm going to wear out the teflon feet in the corners before I wear out the mouse, but I'll just keep using it. Oh yeah that silver paint it worn through in multiple spots. This sucker was $100 canadian when it first came out, and I would buy it again today if this one failed. OuTpaTienT 06-23-2001, 06:43 PM I have an old ball Logitech mouse that's a good 5 years old and it still works perfectly. jad1097 06-23-2001, 07:09 PM I like my Logitech Optical Wheel Mouse (USB). ragtop 06-23-2001, 09:10 PM If you're into gaming, that Razer Boomslang mouse that Booya mentioned is great, unfortunately the company has gone out of business. As far as I'm concerned, just about any decent quality mouse works fine for general (non-gaming) use. Warthog 06-23-2001, 10:29 PM I have had the Microsoft Intellimouse Explorer since the Christmas of '99. I am very happy with it and it has worked flawlessly since. Warthog NDC 06-23-2001, 10:35 PM I use a Panwest Cyberbeetle optical mouse for all my systems and they work great! http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif F4_Hunter 06-23-2001, 10:45 PM I'd say either one of the Microsoft Intelli opticals or if your stuck on ball mice (like me http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif) a Razor BoomSlang is real good stuff. [This message has been edited by F4_Hunter (edited 06-23-2001).] Bob The Great 06-24-2001, 12:23 AM Go Logitech! The Optical wheel mouse is the greatest! It cost me $19, comes with a great warrenty, it's USB (altough it comes with a USB to PS2 converter wich works flawlessly http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif Just get this mouse! It is so cool! The Boomslang's look cool! Except I saw the price is something like $80!!!! LiLRiceBoi 06-24-2001, 01:05 AM IMO logitech mice have better wheels. SysOpt.com
