i got a little under 700, shipped to central IL, that added nearly $60. you picked an expensive MOBO, especially for running a duron, you probably should have went with a 200FSB mobo, unless you plan on getting a t-bird in the near future. pretty good price though.

Yeah He wants to eventually upgrade it to a better, faster cpu. I also bought everything from PCCLUB here in california and Fry's.
It works and he was able to afford it so all the better.
Thanks.
I was also going to construct a 1.2Ghz Althon based system for my uncle but he want's to be able to upgrade it , not like those Compaq systems that you buy that only have 1 available PCI and no more room for anything.
What would you suggest?
Im looking for...
-1.2 Ghz athlon
-512 MB RAM
-40+GB Hard drive
-32MB More Video (thinking about the GeForce 2)
-NIC
-17'Monitor
-16X CD-Burner
-Soundblaster Live
-good MOBO. 200FSB?
I did an estimate and It came out to aboe $1,400 with monitor (no printer)
any thoughts?
thanks!
