Hello!
When I am using my IE, I can find 10 previous listed sites n the address bar dropdown. When I look at my friend's machine, I can see 20 previously listed sites if I click on the drop down arrow. Is there any way that I can increase mine to 20 or 25. What is the max no. of links that can be displayed by IE?
Thank You.
Regards,
Harshadeep.

Hi!
Thank you for your quick response. For your information, I am using Win98 and IE 5. I am not sure, but, I'm not sure whether this software will serve my purpose.
Thank You.
Regards,
Harshadeep.

Hi harshadeep,
The entries in the drop-down list are the result of urls that were typed directly into IE's address bar (or were copied & pasted there). Visiting a site by clicking on a link won't add it to the menu, but typing the address into the Address bar will.
I'm unaware of an actual limit on the number of entries that can be stored ... I suspect that your friend has simply typed more entries into the address bar than you have. These entries are stored in the registry under: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\TypedURLs and they are related to IE's Autocomplete feature.
Here's more information about AutoComplete for Internet Explorer, each link contains at least a little bit of info about the IE Address bar drop down list:
