I wanted to buy a cool power up button for my computer. I went to Lowes and Home Depot but all I could find was a regular light switch.
I want it to be smaller than 1 square inch. Prefferablly circle button.
Hope you guys know what I mean.

Have you tried Radio Shack.
Rockerswitch (http://www.radioshack.com/category.asp?catalog%5Fname=CTLG&category%5Fname=CTLG%5F011%5F002%5F015%5F003&Page=1)
Pushbutton (http://www.radioshack.com/category.asp?catalog%5Fname=CTLG&category%5Fname=CTLG%5F011%5F002%5F015%5F002&Page=1)
Toggle (http://www.radioshack.com/category.asp?catalog%5Fname=CTLG&category%5Fname=CTLG%5F011%5F002%5F015%5F006&Page=1)
Automotive (http://www.radioshack.com/category.asp?catalog%5Fname=CTLG&category%5Fname=CTLG%5F011%5F002%5F015%5F001&Page=1) yes, these will still work.
All you need is a momentary switch.
Or any other electronics store in your area should carry these.

Radioshack is the best place to get the switches you're looking for - or any other electronics supply store. Home Depot and Lowes carry home hardware.
One problem you should consider though. Any rocker or toggle switch will require you to turn it on then back off rapidly. Remember in an ATX PSU, holding the button for 3 seconds turns it off, or resets, or whatever you system is configured to do. Unless you're prepared to do some major rewiring directly to the PSU bypassing the motherboard, you'll probably want momentary push button switches like is already in your computer. Don't worry though, there are still many cool option for these.
However if you're working with an AT PSU, a rocker or toggle will be what you need (like what you sent pictures of), as a momentary push button will not hold the supply in those.

I went to radioshack about an hour ago and found the switch but was 9 cent more than frozencpu.com's switch. But at least no S&H.
Thanks Paco. I havent had thought about that problem. But I'll live with that Maybe i'll see if i can change the switcher to the push button. Probally not cause of $.

That's cool. If you like the rocker or whatever, you can just switch it and switch it back real quick. No more than most of end up using it, it wouldn't be that big of a deal.
Hadn't thought about it, but it could also make a nice security feature. . . most people would be confused trying to boot it up:P
Send a pic of the finished project if you can!

If you went with a LED momentary switch, that would be cool too. When you push the button, the LED will stay on too. It's cool if you are really into lighting effects...

Clappers...
could be interesting if there's some applause in the bg!!!
wouldn't work for me because the sound of a clap is so very similar to the sound of me consistently and frequently slapping my poor, abused forehead...yes, I said forehead... :D
I'd like a button that knows when Windows has cr@$$$$$$!!!!!ed and restarts for me...:p

I bought 2 rocker switch. One for restart and another for Power up/Shut down. But had to remove the restart because it caused conflicts. wont stop restarting and keep shuting down within few sec of booting up.
So I'm thinking of moding my power supply once again and make the 2nd rocker switch to control the main power switch attached to the pwer supply. Also planning to mod my Power supply case fan cause the one on it is weak.
