On the SysOpt pages, there are flash advertisements, if you right click them and select Settings, ther should be four tabs each one with different settings. I just found out that I have been lsitened to and watched for the last year!

All of us must disable the watching and listening features...of these ads

For example, the storagetek ad...

The entire internet has eyes and ears. Tell us something we don't know.
Sysopt is a for profit website via advertisements, as well as a tech forum that help's others (through it's members) with their computer problems gratis.
If you are savy enough to realize that there are trackers through the ads here than you should be savy enough to know how to avoid them as well.

Is that Chuck Berry I see, watching me pee?

what's all this about clicking on ads...?

I thought no one did that anymore, xept by accident, not since the mid 90s anyway...!

Fun to change the quality and zoom, though... abstract ads are much better...

:D

I was shocked to find that I was actually being heard on the other side... I never expected this...

By the way I found this out when using Windows XP so 2000 or earlier might not have it.

I'm using Windows XP Pro now. I can't find any settings when I right-click on the ad.

By default it denies access til you tell it to, its working in conjunction with doubleclick which already has access with normal cookies so theres nothing new about that or anymore spying than is normal.
