I have to admit, I didn't read the whole artical, but I hvae a few comments. To being, I'm pretty sure that we won't be using microchip based comptuers for too much loger. Liket he next 10 years or so. There many places that are doing research into new technologies like biological and quantum computers that are WAY faster than anythighn you can imagine. Quantum computers can solve the most complex problems in a fractions of a second... without even being on! It's only a matter of time until we ditch microchip based comptuers and goto the next platform, whatever it may be.

I agree. I think we will look back at this type of processor in the future and see it in the same light as the TRS-80 or Commodore 64 or ENIAC. I am very interested in the biological line of research. This would be a very benefitial realm of research, as it could help both biology and IT.
