I put some new batteries in my digital camera a while back(about 2 months ago) I just picked it up to use it, and the duricel batteries are dead...Is that normal?

It's one of those cheap Argus cameras. It works well. I notice it shows up as a Toshiba drive in my computer. So does that mean it's really a Toshiba camera?

Batteries don't last that long in digitals but, unless you used it quite a bit before putting it aside, I'd say you may have left it in a functioning mode.

As far as the drive it probably is a Toshiba drive but Argus just subs out the parts.

Regardless of the camera, batteries will drain if left in a device. If you are not going to use the device for a while, remove the batteries. (actually best stored in the refrigerator). Maybe a little extra work but worth the effort.:t
