Finally I got a new computer http://www.sysopt.com/forum/biggrin.gif It's so fast, cracking RC5 @ 2.5 mkeys/sec! It's nice because now I can run all my games at max graphics detail and they still fly http://www.sysopt.com/forum/biggrin.gif
SPECS:
Duron 750
ECS K7VZA (builtin sound)
20gb Fujitsu 5400rpm HD
Voodoo3 2000 PCI
128mb Algol PC133 SDRAM
I was going for the KT7-E, but the place didn't have it and the guy recommended the K7VZA. Since I wanted the computer now and the price was right ($125CAN) I said ah screw it and bought it. It's not an overclocking board, but I have the fsb at 112mhz right now (840mhz duron). It locks a lot in 3d games at 840, but what can you expect at default voltage? I remember someone posting links which showed how to set the bridges to changed the vcore and multiplier. If someone could post a link, I would appreciate it.
I haven't posted in a while or worked on official RC5 blocks for a few days cause my old video card doesn't want to work, and I was going to use it in my wincip system which has my ISA modem and AOL account. Today I got a PCI ATI mach32 and a Trident to try.
