My cousin doens't know much about pc and all he does is use my computers and install this and that. I dont' like it, but I can't just let him be a regular user and wont' let him install stuff then he would be pissed. So my question is, if I set him as a administrator, would his install stuff mess up my profile registry, and whatever else? Im careful with what I install, but he doens't so is there a way I can allow him to install stuff, but would not affect me?

nope. administrator has full rights to the system. if he installs a program, it should appear in your menu also. there are some programs that give you the option to only show in a particular profile, but not too many.

it will not work, once you give them rights to install stuff, your PC will get a change to get screwed.
that's the whole point of having Administrator vs Users
so or one or the other, no middle ground for installation stuffs

If you have Win2K/XP Pro, you can make him a Power User. He can still screw things up, just not as easily.
