What would be a good heatsink and fan for a 1.4 GHz Athlon? Is the one that comes in its retail packaging any good? What do I look for when buying a heatsink and fan? While on the topic of cooling, what would be some good 8cm and 9.2 cm case cooling fans? I've looked at Cooler Master. Is this good, or are there better ones?

Take a look at the coolers(socket A) at 2cooltek (http://www.2cooltek.com) or at Millisec (http://www.millisec.com) .

Stay away from cooler master because they really don't make good coolers. Don't get a chrome orb or anything like that.

For your AMD processor, I would recommend either a FOP-38 or WBK-38. They both do a great job for CPU cooling. I'm currently using both of them for my systems and they're great!
