Hello all.
The tech support guy from my old college has just got in touch - they're looking for a free/open-source development environment for C++. I'm a Visual Studio man, so I haven't got a clue. Can anyone recommend some good ones? Thanks :) Oh yeah, they run Windows XP.

Oh yes, definitely go for BloodShed's DevC++ (http://www.bloodshed.net/devcpp.html) :)

Does gcc have an IDE? I've only used djgpp as a command - line compiler... I just got CodeWarrior free with a PC mag (PCPlus - UK) - full version - so I'm gonna scroo around with that:D
