Anyone else have these problems with ICQ?

A friend of mine is having a lot of problems with ICQ, and Win98. She gets a lot of Illegal Operation errors, and blue screens of death, specifically when trying to retrieve messages that are sent to her. I don't know the exact error messages she gets, but if anyone else has had similar problems, could you give me the fixes that seemed to work for you?

what version is she using?

i have the newest ICQ99B and all the problems of auto disconnections from the network,etc.... have gone away

She has 99A. I told her to download 99B, we'll see if that helps her out. Thanks Jokostel.

Yes, the latest build should do it, some of the older ones wanted to be installed several times before they worked properly..

She downloaded 99B, but didn't get rid of 99A, still having some problems, but we're working them out.
