Hello folks,

Anyone heard of the arrival of WD Caviar SE SATA hard drives
(120 GB) which features 8 MB cache buffer, 7,200 RPM, SecureConnect, FlexPower and three-year warranty in Nroth America ?

I would like to order one for myself and my wife in Canada.

Please help !

All I can find are the Raptor (36 GB, 10k RPM) and a 250 GB SE on newegg.

Maxtor has one that has most of the hardware features you want (8 MB cashe, 7.2k RPM) but can find no warranty information.

They do ship to Canada too. :)

Funny - all stores seem to have a 1 year warranty. That stinks!

are you looking for storage space or performance? if you just need space, I don't see why you have to get a SATA drive. if you're going for performance, get the raptor.

Well, Seagate's is available:

It's not the fastest, but it's reliable. The price is decent too.
