I think the article is well put together.
I am a little abouve the mid-stream users the article talks about. I like speed and performance, but I do not tweak things that much. The noise from the fans doesn't bother me (sometimes it helps me sleep.) )-|
I think this statement in the conclusion sums up the competition that is driving the computer industry forward:
It is all a cat-and-mouse game, a sometimes tumultuous journey towards perfection.
