Click to See Complete Forum and Search --> : Crank base audio?
Hey everyone,
Had another question which popped in my mind... doesn't hurt to ask does it?
Does anyone know how I can crank up the base in my computer's sound system? Some specs below:
ASOUND XPRESS PCI (ALS4000)
Cheap $10 Speakers (no comments on their crappiness pls)
Windows Media Player 9.0
Thanks.
P.S. Already using the equalizer in WMP...

A base is when Army people hang out. Bass is low frequency audio. ;)
You can't get bass out of $10 speakers. You have to (uh-oh!) spend money.

You can get a 50 band parametric EQ but it still won't do you any good if you haven't got a nice amp/speaker rig. If you don't want to spend much, get something branded with a subwoofer on a 2.1 setup, like these:

You could spend $12.00 on an audio cable and run from your computer's output to your stereo's input. Thats what I have set up in my living room right now and it works like a charm.
