In windows XP home...is there a way to get it to look at a program compatible with Win 98 and have XP deal with it alone in that OS. Its a digital polaroid camera's driver adn photo program and so far we haven't found any drivers for XP. My mind might be slipping but somewhere in my mutated memory cells is this thought that there was a way to get XP to look at a program and operate it in FAT32? or is that only when you install XP? help if you can

You are looking for "Run as" compatibility mode.

Windows 98 drivers will NOT work in Windows XP. Usually if there are no Windows XP drivers for your hardware then Windows XP will try to use some built-in drivers (if it has them), which should work fine.

Most Windows 98 programs do work in Windows XP without any special commands. If not, then you can try using the "Compatibility Mode".

what Bill said is true, but that only works for PROGRAMS, and like Amd4ever said that will NOT WORK for the DRIVERS

so how about letting us know the EXACT model number of that DIGITAL camera

so we perhaps find you some 3rd party drivers or other means of connecting that camera
