i read awhile backin one of the forums how to get the win98 product key # from your own computer. i want to reinstall '98 but i don't have the key# anymore(lost in my mess here!!!!) i can't for the life of me remember how to get it again. can anybody out there help me remember what to do????
any help appreciated

I think what you want is on the Installation tab.

It's stored in the registry under:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Curr entVersion\ProductKey
