...a motherboard that KILLS!

If any of us on here were around for the Amiga Comm 64, then you know what kind of system I'm referring to. The Amiga has long been a revolutionary system, always utilizing the future of computing technology.
The newest in the line of Amiga's, the Marcelena board, utilizes Direct access architecture in place of standard bus architecture to acheive true 64 bit processing (other subsidiary systems, ex. SGI, utilize compound bus architecture, 'stacked' to acheive 64 bit processing). This technology allows the system to run easily at 5 ghz, which really takes the wind out of Intel's sails. This board shows us all that Intel, AMD, and the others have been holding back power - kind of a slap in the face to us tech heads http://www.sysopt.com/forum/wink.gif
But the real magic behind an Amiga machine is its ability to be upgraded. My friend still has a running Commador 64 he's been upgrading for years (its serves as the hub for his networking farm). This system is something to see. Everything can be unplugged and upgraded, because Amiga has NEVER changed their board layout, just the technology behind it.
Combine this system with the Amiga OS, and you've got one KICKIN' piece of hardware!
Street price: approx 5,000
