jesus christ, i cant decide on which to stay with.....
im glad i have these options but i can never just keep what i have up and running.
i change o/s's as much as women change their mind...(no offense)

Try linux http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif
No I'm not a hardcore linux pusher, but you can't seem to make up your mind between those, try something different http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif

Myself, instead of constantly formatting and restarting I prefer to fit multiple on my box and make sure they all work! (multiple OS's is easy, getting them to play nice is a little more difficult)

The most I've had was 4 with Win2k, Win98, WinME (BIG mistake) and RedHat 6.1

Currently going with Mandrake 8.0 Win2k, and Win98

Next goal is to add a FreeBSD to get back up to 4 OS's http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif

All (hopefully) using a Win2k bootloader! (since its what I'm used to, and probably the most challenging LOL)

How's it going.

I've a couple of different pieces of hardware in the P.C. that are not compatible with all the O.S.'s. So I fitted a detachable drive hopper. I've three hard drives, one with W95, one with W98 SE, and one with W2k. I've just picked up another drive to play with linux, but have to find the time.

All the best, Justy.

You must have minimal apps on your comp or are extremely patient or have pleasure in installing apps http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif

It takes me approx 3 hours to get my computer to about 85% running capacity. Some things have to be downloaded (Quicktime), etc.

Don't think I could do what you do http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif

Wart,
It must be a perverse pleasure.
Cant fix it, unless it's broken.
So let's break it, and try again!
