I have been doing a few searches on Google and the like, trying to find some links to backup software.
A friend of mine works in a small architectural office - 3 PC's, one win95, 2 win98, networked. They have at least a gig, and probably more of files, some of which have been sitting there for about four or five years, and NO BACKUPS.
They are getting a CD burner, so I said I would check out their options for setting up regular backups.
Who knows of a good, fairly basic utility for doing backups? Most likely just a few small data files each day - once they have archived off all the old stuff that is.
Every time I do a search, I get links to either big commercial packages which are probably to complex ( and expensive ) for these people to consider, or to software for other platforms.
It kind of seems like no one is really interested in backing up PCs!
Thanks for you interest - Alex
