i try to be here, but the last 2.2 weeks has been real busy for me
firs the virus thing, then weird projects, now the others doesn't care, so now i've to look after some other projects that normally is not of my Realm :p
but i don't mind much, it makes me look better in front of the bOss and around the company :D
but trying to to be a Hero too much, else later they'll have an high espectation and you wont be able to go back to normal easy going work stile ;)
that translated, means even less time in SysOpt and other stuff i do :r

I am getting sooooo annoyed with my DSL ISP today,
their connection is useless!! I have lost connection 3 times today! The first time i have ever lost it!
First time, i lost connection, when i redialed, i was at 256 kbps! rather that 512! After 10 mins of unplugging the line and redialing it went back to 512.
The second time, it was a basic lose then redial, and the 3rd (just then) was line noise! It isnt my PC cause my external modem flashes regularly when "training" and flashes iregularly when no line or bad connection.

I have only been able to connect to Jersey Telecom now! The line has been dead since my last post!!
But the modulation has been changed from T1.463 to G.DMT, which gives me the impression that they changed some equipment! :t

My speed should be:

Got a new one now - running great
The guy got my line up to 8mbps and had it tested with his laptop and his modem - worked fine! Full 8mbps... but with my modem, it wouldnt connect :eek:
Soooo.... he got me a new modem - and switched the line back down to 512mbps :(
Going great!! Not so sure about sysopt though.... seems a bit slow :eek:
