Well, guys, about a year ago, I upgraded my ECS k7s5a motherboard by buying pc2100 ddr for it. It used to have pc-133 ram. I saw a noticeable difference when it came to 3d gaming. I have a g4 ti 4600 card. Well, right now I think I should upgrade it again.
I'm thinking of getting an ECS k7s5a pro mobo and can you guys tell me what's the best RAM I can get for it? I have an athlon xp 1600+. Should I upgrade my processor, too? Would I notice a big difference if I upgrade my mobo, proc, ram?

The pro just adds usb 2.0. That not a upgrade otherwise and its a old chipset. Look at Nforce2 mobo's for a real upgrade with lots of headroom.;)

Incidentally, what on earth is a bahzb0rt? Sounds painful... ;) :D

"bahzb0rt" is one of the words I invented. It's a modified version of "bah". I also invented "w00zn0rt...!", the modified version of w00t.
What's the fastest best DDR ram out there? Is it a huge speed increase from a 2100?

You won't notice a difference by changing RAM. The K7S5A doesn't overclock and can't make use of it really.
The Pro is so close to the non-Pro that you can just switch boards and restart.
If you're dead set on new RAM, get two of these:

You can always make use of them on your next motherboard. ;)

So if I get a better board and the ram linked above, I'd notice a good difference? What about my CP? Is it bottlenecking my comp?

Does your PC seem slow now, or are you just trying to reach Warp Speed?

It would take a lot of money to squeeze out another 30% performance. I would install an Athlon 2400+ before I did anything else.
