Well, i got it, tried it, and I gotta say, I liked it.

It's a little different to what I'm used to ( me being a CS nut ) but this game looks very promising... I hope they keep it going.

Fully Automatic weapons are a pain to use as the recoil is way too over-exaggerated. So im going all john woo Akimbo Baretta's and 1911's, works quite well too. Could do with a quick switch key, to change guns rapidly when you run out of ammo, rather than fiddle about reloading :(

Solution for your problems, Jakk:

1. Rifles are for noobs, it requires absolutely no skill to use them, i'm glad you've chose the pistols, they actually require some skill :), I use the Glock 20 with Laser Sight.

2. To switch your guns mega fast, press the "drop weapon" key. I've re-assigned mine back to G.

TS 2.0 is coming out soon and apparently it's going to be mega good.

Out of curiosity what are the rarely used guns, and the most popular guns? Just so I know so I dont look like the mega-n00b I am when I play it!

I'm using The Dual Socom MK23's now, quite impressive :D.

Well, people use rifles and sub-machine guns and shotguns, but i think it's really, really lame to use them, it's just too easy.

The popular pistols... well, all of em apart from the glock 18.

I have a feeling that the automatics are going to have to get nerfed in a later version. They seem like they might be too powerful and easy to use.

Having said that I love ripping apart a M4A1'er with my trusty desert eagle :D

I have two config's at the mo:

1. Dual Socom MK23's and 5-7 with Lasersight.

2. Dual Berettas (I have the clerics beretta's out of Equilibrium :D) and Desert Eagle. (I usually fire the DE, reload if far away, drop it if close up and use the berettas).

If radiohead gives me his MSN addy i'll set up a private 3 man server on my home machine, my upload stream (128kbps) should prolly be enough for two players.

Head Up:

1 frag for Sub-machine guns, Shotguns and rifles

2 frags for pistols

3 frags for knives

If you do a stunt it is a multiplier. e.g. Dual Berettas with the stunt button, gives you four frags.

Not bad news, eh? :D Hopefully more people will use Pistols then.
