The THX intro screen

Have you been to the movies lately and seen the intro to thx its kinda like the windows start up screen but muuuuuuuch cooler anyway i just wanted to know if i could download that movie or just the sound to put at the windows intro

well the site looks great with all those cool trailers but ther's one problem though the links dont work. http://www.sysopt.com/forum/frown.gif i tried all the thx movies but they all lead to "pagee cannoy be displayed.

Yeah, I tried them to, none of them work...

Yeah, noticed that ftp.index.hu didn't have the stuff it claimed.. But, google found many pages =) used keywords thx trailer download.

im having sooooooo much trouble i've downloaded two movies already (totalling over 110mb) both come on the desktop as one of those files that you need to specify the program i check windows media player and it says not supported or something please can someone give a straight link to a place with the trailers?

With VOB format you have to use PowerDVD player which you can download Here (http://download.cnet.com/downloads/0-10078-100-4701087.html?tag=st.dl.10001-103-1.lst-7-4.4701087) . And here is a straight link to more VOB Trailers Here (http://www.digital-digest.com/dvd/downloads/trailers.html) and some Mpeg trailers Here (http://ganymede.spaceports.com/~thxdivx/thx.htm) But to play the Mpeg ones you will need the Divix codecs which can be downloaded Here (http://www.divx-digest.com/software/divxcodec.html)

now i have yet another prob. the first time i dl'ed was without the dvd player so when it asked which prog to open with i said windows media player. now thats the default so when i extract with the dvd player it is still opening with windows media player http://www.sysopt.com/forum/frown.gif how do i set it back to not using media player or how do i use the "open program with" program?

Well, PowerDVD doesn't "Claim" File types anyway so it really doesn't matter. What you would do is... Open PowerDVD and then to the left of the circle that is play stop ECT. there is two round buttons you should push the bottom one that says "Disk Mode" after you push that it will turn to "File Mode" then you just push the play button then a play list will pop up, browse for your file and double click on it press ok then push play again and it will play. And as for your File type problem with windows media player you can change it back easy. Plus its also allot easier to play the files than I have explained above, Just hold Shift down and right click on the .vob file and then a "Open With" menu will show below open then just click open with and then pick PowerDVD from the box and check always use this program to open files and now you can just click on the file to play it

ok lots more problems http://www.sysopt.com/forum/frown.gif Forst power dvd is not in the "open file with" program so i cant select it http://www.sysopt.com/forum/frown.gif So whenever i try to play it tries to use media player. Second when i go to power dvd and try to find the thx files it wont show them i know im in the right folder there just no there http://www.sysopt.com/forum/frown.gif

So I was looking around at other sites and found out something interesting one site said in there description that they have taken off the thx trailers because thx asked them to. Also other sites that had trailers both dts and thx it said that the thx trailers "aren't" working hmm then i got yo the official thx site (or somewhere) and i remember they were advertiseing all there trailers on dvd. hmm that didnt work, ok it kinda goes from a high pitch tone and goes ALL the way down so that the bass is so deep its hard to breath. if anyone found this in movie format please send link or better yet email it to me.
